Lease return processing: wiped, tested, ready to go back out.

For leasing companies, and for MSPs and resellers that lease hardware. Computers coming off lease come to our Clearwater shop, where every unit is wiped to NIST SP 800-88 Rev. 2, tested, repaired, cleaned, graded and reimaged. They go back to you boxed and ready for redeployment, with a report for every serial number.

Compliance posture

Honest about what we hold.

We don’t hold every certification a large ITAD vendor does, and we’d rather tell you that on this page than during an audit. Here is what we follow as documented procedure.

Process · every drive

NIST SP 800-88 Rev. 2

In-house wipes with a certificate of sanitization per drive.

Process-aligned

R2v3

Procedures followed; downstream material goes to R2v3-certified partners.

Process

In-house destruction

Media that can’t be wiped is physically destroyed at the shop.

Process

In-house recycling

What can’t be reused is demanufactured and recycled at the shop.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions about lease returns.

Who is lease return processing for?

Leasing companies, and MSPs and resellers that lease hardware to their own clients. If you own the computers and need them back in rentable shape, this is for you.

Which devices do you take?

Laptops, desktops and tablets coming off lease.

How do the computers get to you?

Four ways: you ship them in, the lessee ships them in, we pick up from the lessee along the East Coast, or we send prepaid kits to the people holding the devices. Ship-in and kits work nationwide. If your state isn’t in our service area, contact us for a quote and we’ll see if we can handle your needs.

What happens to the data?

Every drive is wiped with our in-house wipe process to NIST SP 800-88 Rev. 2, and you get a certificate for each serial number.

Can you load our image?

Yes. Each unit gets a clean Windows install or your own image, whichever you ask for.

What about units that can’t be made ready?

We report what failed and you decide, batch by batch: we return them as-is with the report, or we recycle them and send the paperwork.

How long does a batch take?

It depends on how many units are in the batch. Tell us the count and we’ll give you a date with the quote.

Can you hold finished units for us?

Yes. Finished units can stay in our warehouse and ship out as you call for them. Storage is quoted with the batch.

How is it priced?

Per unit, quoted per batch. Parts, repairs and storage are quoted on top, so the quote shows each one.

How do businesses pay?

All modern forms of payment are accepted, including cash, card, and ACH. Lease return work takes a 50% deposit when booked, with the balance invoiced after the units are processed.

Are you R2v3 process-aligned?

Yes — we follow R2v3 procedures and use R2v3-certified downstream partners.

Leases coming due?

Tell us roughly how many units are coming back and where they are. We’ll put a quote together, no commitments.
